4 Free tickets are issued per booth. Maximum 4 people at each booth.
Tables will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.
You must bring a minimum of 5 gallons of Chili (for each category), or 6 quarts of Salsa, or a substantial amount of Guacamole & Specialty Item, depending on item. If you would like to enter in the Apple Pie Category, you must make at least 3-5 pies. We expect over 800 attendees at the event, so be prepared!
Each team is responsible for their own 10 x 10 tent, tables, chairs & extension cords (100’, 16 gauge, with ground) and condiments (chips, crackers, cheese, sour cream, etc.)PLEASE NOTE: If you have chafing dishes & sterno, that would be recommended due to the amount of electricity needed for this event.
Official tasting cups & taster spoons will be issued by the Chamber at each booth for judging & public sampling. The Chamber will also supply bowls & spoons to the public. (And of course, the Chili Necklace!) Chili will be donated to the Chamber for sale, with all proceeds going to the Chamber.
Prizes will be awarded for Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion in all categories. Showmanship Awards and People’s Choice Awards will also be given.
Our Showmanship Award makes this event FUN! We strongly encourage you to add a theme to your entry, with costumes and decorations.
Dessert and beverages are not included in the entry fee, but will be available for sale at the event. All proceeds will benefit the Ambassadors' Scholarship Program.
NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL
